The NAFA Fleet Management Association's Institute & Expo runs April 5–7, 2027 at the David L. Lawrence Convention Center in Pittsburgh, PA. Here's everything you need to plan your trip, plus how to meet the RTA team at booth #1835.
About the event
NAFA I&E is the largest annual gathering of fleet professionals in North America. The 2027 event brings government, corporate, public safety, utility, and education fleets together for three days of education sessions, keynotes, a Ride & Drive, and an Expo Hall of fleet suppliers.
Government and corporate fleets are represented about equally, and NAFA reports that 90% of attending fleet managers make or influence purchasing decisions for their fleets.

Who should attend
Government and corporate fleets show up in roughly equal numbers, alongside public safety, utility, and education fleets. Here's what each group should focus on.
Use the Expo Hall to compare fleet management systems side by side. If you're planning an FMIS change, the Information Management Certificate covers selection, implementation, telematics, and reporting.
Focus on the education tracks and supplier conversations around cost, utilization, and data. The Ride & Drive on Monday is a quick way to see new vehicles in one place.
Put the OEM Law Enforcement Showcase Panel on Monday afternoon at the top of your list, then spend Expo Hall time with upfitters and software vendors.
Look at the Sustainable Fleet Management Certificate and the EV Test Track in the Expo Hall on Tuesday and Wednesday.
Campus and K-12 fleets can get a lot from CAFM Live and the general sessions, then use the Expo Hall to meet vendors that work with smaller teams.
The Technician Package ($199) adds dedicated Technician Training, and qualifying technicians can get a free Expo Hall pass.

Kick off the week and meet fleet peers from your NAFA region.

All-access registration starts at $875 for NAFA member fleet managers. Rates rise after each deadline: Early Bird through January 15, 2027, Advanced from January 16 to March 5, and Regular from March 6 on.

Register before January 15, 2027 for the lowest rate. Groups of five or more qualify for group pricing, and joining NAFA ($559) brings fleet manager rates down to member pricing.

Pre-conference programs run Sunday, April 4, before the main event starts, and cost $299 each on top of registration.
