RTA Joins The Transportation Alliance

As we strive to help fleets succeed, RTA has joined The Transportation Alliance as an Associate Member.

“We feel that our solution is a perfect fit for a lot of TTA members,” said Jeff Jenkins, the Vice President of Sales and Marketing at RTA. “Our product increases efficiency in their maintenance department so that they can save money and increase their profitability by making sure that their vehicles are always on the road.”

Established in 1917, The Transportation Alliance is a non-profit trade association of and for the private passenger transportation industry.

Their global membership includes taxicab companies, executive sedan and limousine services, airport shuttle fleets, non-emergency medical transportation companies, and paratransit services.

TTA’s mission is to provide members with a network of programs, services, and support that will enhance their ability to effectively and profitably serve local public transportation needs.

They serve their members by:

  • Representing common federal legislative interests.
  • Protecting and expanding industry rights and opportunities.
  • Collecting, interpreting, and disseminating industry information.
  • Providing forums for professional development and education.
  • Advancing the image of the industry before the media and general public.

RTA is excited to help TTA members become more efficient through the use of its software solution and other products.

“When I exhibited at [TTA’s Mobilize 2021], most people there that I talked to had anywhere from 30 to 160 vehicles in their fleet, and all but two of them were using Excel spreadsheets to run their maintenance departments, which is very inefficient,” said Jenkins.

“We find that, if you go from Excel to a fleet management software system like ours, it’s usually a 15-times return on investment.”

RTA is also confident its top-notch customer service department can help benefit TTA members.

“We’re one of the very few companies that send out NPS, or Net Promoter Score, surveys to our clients on a regular basis to make sure that they have the ability to give input about our services. Also, we just built a module in our software where we put a little icon in the top corner that you can click on and automatically give feedback — right away,” Jenkins said.

RTA was established in 1979 and is headquartered in Glendale, AZ. As the Fleet Success Company, it strives to help fleets succeed in all aspects of their operation through RTA’s robust fleet management software, training program, and fleet consultation services.
