RTA Awarded Fleet Management Software Contract from the Commonwealth of Massachusetts

Award allows all state, and local government entities as well as non-profits to purchase under the state contract VEH118.

Glendale, AZ– Following a request for proposal (RFP) process for Fleet Management Software (FMS), the Commonwealth of Massachusetts recently awarded Ron Turley and Associates (RTA) a statewide contract under VEH118.

The contract allows state, and local government entities, and non-profit organizations participating in the OSD Non-Profit Purchasing Program in Massachusetts the ability to license RTA’s fleet management software and services without the need for independent bids or RFPs.

“The VEH118 award allows fleet managers to quickly and easily implement a powerful and modern, web-based fleet management system within days – not months,” said Josh Turley, CEO at RTA. “It is an opportunity to improve fleet operations and overall fleet performance without having to go through a full RFP process. Therefore, it saves department time and resources, benefiting both the agency and the community at large.”

Serving government fleets for over 40 years, RTA is one of the most utilized fleet management systems in North America. Over 1,000 organizations rely on RTA to improve fleet operations, public safety, and community services.

Fleet managers use RTA web and mobile software to manage vehicle and equipment assets, work orders, parts and purchase orders, inventory costs, and more. This benefits agencies by improving fleet availability and utilization, enhancing PM compliance, reducing average repair times, decreasing unscheduled maintenance, and lowering costs per vehicle.
